The University of Minnesota is committed to working with citizens and public and private sector entities to develop the vision, values and characteristics of a future community on the UMore Park property.  Listening sessions and public forums that engage people and invite ideas and comments are envisioned as an important and ongoing element of planning and development over time.

Six public Listening Sessions were held in September 2007; more than 450 people participated.

Two Campus Forums were held in November 2007 to engage University faculty, students and staff members.
