|  | | Technical Advisory Committee | The University of Minnesota assembled a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) consisting of representatives from local jurisdictions, state agencies and other stakeholder organizations.
The purpose and responsibilities of the TAC are:
- To better inform the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) process and help to ensure a quality outcome.
- To help identify problems and opportunities within the project study area.
- To serve as the key information resources for the agencies or local units of government that each member represents.
- To participate in the public meetings that are an important component of the EIS process.
- To raise issues/concerns that may affect local units of governments and other organizations.
- To be an informed and active participant in the EIS process.
