Education and Outreach
The agricultural and natural resource base that exists at UMore Park provides excellent opportunities for experiential education.

UMore Park is frequently used as a “living laboratory” for instruction on topics in agriculture, horticulture and natural resources for an array of audiences including Extension, community organizations and K-12.

Faculty in charge of undergraduate and graduate course offerings at the University of Minnesota, K-12 institutions throughout the State and agencies and private industries engaged in continuing education are all invited to use the facilities available at UMore Park. Special attention should be drawn to the opportunities for internships in the support of research and outreach projects at UMore Park.

Close proximity to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus and the Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport are attractive benefits for those seeking a venue for outreach or Extension education programs. In addition to the large land base available for demonstration and educational events, UMore Park has attractive meeting room facilities with modern visual aid and catering facilities.

Individuals or organizations interested in scheduling events at UMore Park should call 651-423-2455 for information.
